Just read your comment in Mom of Boys and thought I would stop in to say, "Hi!". I've been trying to be a parent to a toddler and a teenager, too. What a mine field! So many obstacles that you would never have if the kids were closer in age. The teenager wants to watch things which are fine for their age and would be great for opening up a dialog between us, but they are definitely not a good idea for the little one. Little things like respecting privacy issues and trying to teach sharing - it all keeps me spinning and makes me feel like a hypocrite.
