Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
A Former California Surfer Girl with over 20 years experience in Insurance and two grown children finds a way to survive under the clouds (and the shadow of a volcano) in order raise 2 adopted siblings from the Foster Care System.

I started the Adoptive Parents Network in March 2005 as a place where foster, adoptive and special needs parents can discuss the real issues and support one another to become the best advocates for our children's needs.

I accepted my first paid blogging position in December 2006 as the Insurance and Adoption Blogger for Families.com
What is your blogging philosophy?
To offer information, support and social networking for foster, adoptive and special needs parents. To help other parents not only find resources to help with their family matters but, also a way to help support their families.
I have been blogging since...

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
