Hi. I'm developing a free and safe online community where kids can share the stories they write and win prizes. (www.StorytellerKids.com) My goal is to get kids reading and writing fiction. I'm a balloon storyteller based in Southern California and I specialize in literacy school assembly programs. I'm not lucky enough to have my own kids (other than being very involved in the raising of my 16-year-old nephew) but my biggest joy is sharing my love for books with kids.
What is your blogging philosophy?
I have a passionate interest in writing and I feel compelled to share it. I hope the blog and the social site are more about the kids than me.
I have been blogging since...
Not very long! I'm a big newbie!

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
I just visited your website. What a great way to make learning fun! I have a 5 year old and a 12 year old and they would love to visit your site. I have bookmarked it for future use and am excited to share with my little ones.
