mardi gras craft

Here's a fun, easy craft for you to do with your kiddos this week to put them in the Mardi Gras mood. Even better - it doesn't require any supplies that you don't already have in your craft cubby/pantry/box. Read the full blog post with instructions here!

quick like a bunny!

It's hard to come up with a blog name and I played around with lots of titles before it struck me... I'm always on the move - always. I drag my kids all over the place. We rarely spend a day just at home - there's always a fun adventure somewhere. I workout at the Y five days a week. I volunteer at school, in girl scouts, at church. And not a day goes by where you won't hear me hollering to the little ones: Let's go - quick like a bunny! So there you have it -…See More

I’m a mom of three and I manage my own consulting practice from home. A few years ago we moved to northwest Indiana. We live in a small town where my kids can walk to school and in the summer we walk to the library and the farmer’s market. At any moment you can find me...Working out. Reading. Cooking. Playing. Beaching. Museuming. There’s a lot going on around here but it’s fun.
What is your blogging philosophy?
Sometimes a ‘mom blog’… sometimes a cooking blog… sometimes a laugh out loud blog… sometimes a busy blog and sometimes a completely and utterly random blog. Because really - that’s how my life works. I blog to finetune my writing, to reach out to friends new and old and hopefully to build my way to more writing gigs.
I have been blogging since...

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time. I just love this site. The women are so embracing and I hope you are enjoying your experience as much as I.
