Household organizational/management software?

I have been searching high and low for software that will comprehensively help me organize my family - schedules, cleaning lists, medical things, etc. (we have our own business, so it's an extra challenge). I found a couple of programs online but quite frankly they look cheesy. Please, does anyone have any suggestions??
