Share a little something about yourself with other moms.: My name is Caroline. I am a lawyer and working mother who currently lives in Little Rock, Arkansas with my husband Stephen and my daughter Catherine ("Bitlet"), our three dogs, and three cats. I love my job, and I adore being the mother of that little girl, and I believe that I can do both, and do both well.

What is your blogging philosophy?: I blog about things of interest to me. On What to Expect, where I am a featured blogger, obviously I write strictly about motherhood and my adventures with Cate. I also have a blog on Shutterfly just for her called the Chronicles of Catherine, where I share pictures and a series of letters to her that I hope to give her one day called "Letters to the Bitlet." My main blog includes those letters, but I also write about politics, religion, current events . . . you know, the stuff that a lot of people don't talk about. I, however, find it fascinating and writing about such things helps me get a grasp on the world around me, my take on it, and the opinions of others when my view might be askew.

My husband and I will be celebrating three years of marriage on May 26, 2010. Although there are days when I miss the isolation that I knew before I got married, when it was just my dog, Dexter, and me, I love being married. I love being his best friend, and I love knowing that he is mine.

Is a stay at home dad just as good?

I have gotten from some that it is better to be a stay at home mom because it is better for the family, but what if the mother is the primary breadwinner of the family and it is the man who stays at home with the family? Is that just as good as having a stay at home mom on location with the children?
