Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I married my high school sweetheart and we just recently had our first child, a little girl. I LOVE being a mommy and a wife but, it is a tough job. I give the Lord all the credit for teaching me how to balance the many hats that I wear and for giving me the strength to get through every day with joy! Life is good because God is good!

For solids...the hospital gave me a calendar when I had my baby which showed me when to start feeding and how much and how often. I started baby rice cereal first at 6 months old. After a week I started adding vegetables. One new veggie every week. That way if there is an allergic reaction then I know what caused it. Then I added other cereals like baby oat cereal, and also fruit. At around 9 months old I started to chop up food, like small pieces of cooked apple. or small pieces of ripe banana...I also started giving a sippie cup with water at 6 months old. By the time my babies were around 9 months old I was able to get rid of the bottles completely. They were drinking formula from the sipper cup instead of the bottle. Hope that helps!
