Labels: Homeschooling mom, college student, disabled, fat chick, cross-stitcher, avid reader, writer, music lover, internet safety advocate, RPG player.

I live in Decatur, Georgia (intown suburb of Atlanta) with my life partner, Sam, and my daughter, Katie.
What is your blogging philosophy?
At the moment, I'm mostly blogging at TechnoMom for me. Most of the readers are friends, many from my days on LiveJournal.

I have Fibrant Living, CyberStalked (about internet safety) and Academy Caritas (homeschooling/education), but haven't gotten around to doing much with them due to health problems. Then there's Heartsong Handicrafts, where my cross-stitch designs live (which NEEDS a makeover!).

If I could figure out how to make the sites generate income instead of costing money, it would be a Very Good Thing.

I know WordPress extremely well, and am happy to help others with installation and other problems. I also know HTML pretty well, and some CSS. I'm still working on getting good enough to create my own WP templates, but before switching to WP I designed my own sites and several for other groups, including Working to Halt Online Abuse.
I have been blogging since...

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
