"Enjoyed your site.  I have 23 month old twins, a boy and a girl, and a 9 month old singIeton.  I still get Nameberry sent to me every day.  I loved coming up with names for the babies.  I am following.  Take a peek…"

"Are you the art teacher?" That's the question I get all the time. No, I'm not the art teacher, but I am a frustrated artist trapped inside the body of an English teacher. One day my inner artist will be realized when I finally publish the book that has been waiting to jump out of me and onto the page. Until then, I will continue to enjoy YA literature in my capacity as the beloved English teacher on the Hurricane Team at JEJ Moore Middle School.

If you already didn't know enough about me here's the rest of the 411 on this blogger, I am the mother of 22 month old twins and a 9 month old singleton. I am not only an avid writer, but also an avid reader. I love the classics, literary fiction, and sprinkle in a select few nonfiction choices as well, and this makes for one happy reader. In my spare time, which I have loads of (wink, wink), I love to create original needlework. When I am lucky enough to finally make it outdoors, I can be found walking the historic neighborhoods of Petersburg pushing a stroller for three.
What is your blogging philosophy?
The Things You Can Read blog is in its infancy. Launched on June 7, 2012, it has already attracted a great deal of attention. One of the goals of the site is to feature reviews of children's picture books and Young Adult novels. A second goal for the blog is to be a resource for teachers of writing--with examples of student created writing, writing tips, resource links, and the opportunity to pick the brain of a seasoned English teacher. To spice things up...every now and then, I'll also include random quotes and thoughts on education and life in general, but my ultimate goal is to reach out into the blogosphere and be a "Book Whisperer" and "Writing Whisperer" to children of all ages. Thank you for your readership. Here is to a life filled with children, reading and writing.
I have been blogging since...
At school I have had a weblog-for teaching-since 2007, which is when I started to get the itch to start my own personal blog

Greetings from the Tampa Bay :) My name is Lea, and I am the author of Mother Baby Child - I started this blog to share my experience in having a baby just before my 1st son was about to turn 18 years old, as well as what life is like as a married mom after being single for so many years. I also blog about Christianity, baby and child stages, homeschooling, ADHD, Autism, Blog Marketing, etc. I share a lot on that blog during the non-summer seasons.

I also have a new healthy lifestyle choices and weight loss blog - - to accompany my Skinny Body business. I am working hard to complete the design of this new blog, so that I can provide valuable health lifestyle and weight loss information, as well as to share a solid opportunity for moms that want / need to make money by working at home.

I invite you to explore my blogs and provide your feedback.

I have GFC and my network links on both of them.

Now that my baby is older, I have more time to meet the moms. I am really excited about this!

I look forward to reading your blog and networking with you here at MBC :)

Hugs & Blessings!
