Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
My name is Dallas and I’m a 35 year-young stay at home mom to Kiki, wife to Andrew and all around domestic goddess! I recently left my career working for a large corporation here in Richmond to stay home and raise my son. My husband owns a Richmond based graphic design business and is a VCU grad. His office is at home so he is huge part of Kiki’s day to day life and together we are a strong family unit.
I have recently jumped on the eco-conscious bandwagon and I am trying to move our home towards being chemical free, all natural/organic foods and clutter free. We believe that less really is more and are hoping to instill in our son a sense of heartfelt compassion, love for life and a desire to help his planet…both on a local and global level.
What is your blogging philosophy?
t is so easy to get caught up in the trappings of life and our goal is to get back to a more basic way of living. I believe that if we can teach the upcoming generations how to care about something else in addition to themselves, we have a chance to really turn things around in the future. My blog is meant to be informative, funny, a place to vent and ask questions. I hope that you find it useful, enlightening and a place to come for a smile when things are a little cloudy. I want to share with you my life funnies and some tips I come up with on my quest to becoming more eco-conscious in my home.
