Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I have been a stay at home Mom since my first daughter, Samantha, was born about 14 months ago. Prior to that I was a high school science teacher. I loved teaching, but have truly loved my career change - into being a stay at home Mama. I am a busy body, so I am addicted to crafts, blogging and reading (as you will see via my websites). I also starting making kids hats, headbands and hair bows and just opened up an Etsy site at http://www.etsy.com/shop/dananewbrough . I recently began a recipe swap with some friends via the blog (Mama's Recipe Swap) because we all found that we were constantly searching for new dieas in the kitchen, that were easy, cheap and quick...and of course good, so this has given us a chance to share ideas. The last 14 months has brought a lot of new things into my life - but what a fun ride it has been!
What is your blogging philosophy?
1) Blog what you don't mind people seeing (because once out there, it sticks)
2) Keep some things private
3) Be creative - there are few limits to what you can do
4) Do not talk about others in a malicious way or without their consent - same with posting pics
5) Be consistent and keep it up, if you really want people to keep coming back
6) Be real and be positive
I have been blogging since...
