Last night, my husband and I caught about three minutes of the show "Toddlers and Tiaras." There was a pretty little girl in a lot of make up, smiling and standing before a crowd, her mother proudly looking on with tears in her eyes.
"When I'm in my make up," the little girl said, "I feel pretty."
And she looked pretty. I certainly wasn't scandalized. It looked like any other mother / daughter activity to me.

It's so good to hear from you. To be honest you hit it right on the money. It's rough working that shift...but it does free up my afternoons and evenings to spend with my kids. I'd love to be a full time mom...but that's just not in the cards for me right now.
I did do the site myself. I wanted to provide news to other parents, but then Meijer, which is a major grocery chain in our area, decided to sponsor things on my blog as well. So it's kind of all intregrated with my other job too. Your recent blog post is so right. If you work at it...you can get something in return.
