In this day and age, every little bit you do to help the environment helps. Conserving energy is one of the major global concerns, and those efforts start right there in your home. But when the summer comes, many homeowners don’t give a…
Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I grew up with a fat dad—450 pounds (at his heaviest). Every week he was on a new fad diet, and my whole family was forced to eat whatever freeze dried, saccharin loaded concoction he was eating, so we would not blow his diet. By eight years I was an expert on Atkins, Pritikin, Weight Watchers, and Jenny Craig, and had spent time at the Fat Farm at Duke University eating only white rice for 2 weeks. Even though I was a tiny little thing, shorter and skinnier then any of my peers, this was the food and the only food in my home. My only escape into normality was going to my grandmother’s house on the weekends. My parents liked to go out a lot, which was lucky for me so i got to spend every weekend until I was 8, at my grandmother’s house. When I walked in the door, I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. The aroma of delicious baked goods, homemade soups, giant salads and beautiful fruits colored the air and my world. It was the only place I can remember feeling happy, safe and nourished. It was what I lived for and looked forward to. To this day my grandmother who is 95, is my Angel.I want to share my stories and the recipes that my granmother taught me.

Hi, my name is Cheyenne Prawdzik, the creator and mastermind of Fitness4moms.com, a website geared toward strong-minded moms and women seeking to better their health and overall fitness. I simply want to introduce myself as I’m new to the Mom Bloggers Club and would love to meet other bloggers. I hope you will check out my website and perhaps leave any question you may have, and/or recommend it to your friends.
Again, I thank you in advance for your friendship.
I'm fairly new to MBC myself and wanted to welcome you. I am a part-time family doctor and full-time mom of 4 boys. I have a parenting website. On the site I accept questions from parents about their kids' behavior and offer suggestions about difficult situations. I hope you will check it out, perhaps leave a question or recommend it to a friend who has a problem.
Welcome to Mom Blogger's Club! I hope you enjoy your time here and find it helpful! I know it can be overwhelming at first but I promise, you'll be a pro on here in no time! I write a blog called The Adventures of J-Man and MillerBug. It's a blog about my life with my two boys and I do some pretty cool giveaways (OK, I think they're cool! Do you?)
Every weekend I host the Finding New Friends Weekend Blog Hop. It's a great way to find new followers and friends as well as get to know more of your fellow mom bloggers. If you're not familiar with a blog hop, all you have to do is add your blog to the list. Participants then "hop" from blog to blog to find great new blogs! It's a ton of fun! I'd love to have you join us. It's going on now so come on over and link up! You can find it here:http://www.jmanandmillerbug.com/2011/10/finding-new-friends-weekend-blog-hop.html#more.
