Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I am an all round happy person, I am a mum to four people and surrogate mum to a dog called jake and a kitty called tillie. my older two boys, 20 and 18) have now left home so its just my 12 yr old daughter and 4 yr old son and myself at home.
I am a wannabe writer, a wannabe photographer, a scrapbook project designer, a wannabe sewer (is that a word even?) and a wannae all round organised, well adjusted single female...but I live in hope, i have to right?
Instead I am a growing artist in all the above areas. I write for Modern Molly Mormon and many freelance places in real life. I love my blog and other blogs too. I am always looking for ways to share my world with other mums and single mums especially and i'm always looking for ways to learn from other mums.
I love reading, writing, the scriptures (i'm Lds), my family, friends, bbq's in the dark, sewing, cross stitch and almost anything to do with paper crafts!
What is your blogging philosophy?
Homemaking made easy, fun and quick.....after 4 kids and 1.5 grandchildren i figured i knew a few things that would help others...along the journey there has been a business and lots of friends! Come say hi and tell me about you :)
I have been blogging since...
Oh my goodness, so far back i cant even remember! Years ago now

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
