Debbie Ladd has worked in education since 1975 and has been writing children’s stories for over 20 years.

While she is certified to teach grades 1-12 and holds a Masters degree in administration/supervision, Debbie has focused her attention on high school English and journalism classes. Labeled a master teacher, she has earned national and local recognition for her work as an adviser in Florida and Oregon and has spoken at national conventions around the country. She has also critiqued periodicals for several organizations and was presented with The Gold Award for outstanding achievement and dedication as [an] adviser by a national publishing company. Most recently, Debbie was listed in the 2006 issue of Who’s Who in America as well as the 2006 and 2008 issues of Who’s Who of American Women.

As an author, Debbie seeks to bring the joy of reading to children. Her stories vary in content, from exploring life’s lessons to embracing imagination and fantasy.
