Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
My blog is a fictional tale that blends real-life mom experiences, three darling cupcakes, an absent husband, the changes that come with 40 and the question we all wonder since Facebook made it possible to find old boyfriends, "What If I Were Still With Him?"

I am a full-time mom and writer. My name is not Elizabeth Gordon Barrett, but the novel I am posting, One Click Away, is written in the first person so I am posting as the main character, Elizabeth. My real name is the same as an already well-known and prolific author. Oh well. Elizabeth will do for now.

I know the joys, frustrations, boredom and desires of a life like yours. Read One Click Away at www.godeeperliz.blogspot.com, and see.
What is your blogging philosophy?
My entry into the blogging world comes as a means of finding an audience. As a writer I appreciate the chance that blogging offers to "get my voice out there" and in exploring blogging for that purpose, I found many, many beautifully written mom blogs already. That's when I decided to post a completed 300 page women's fiction novel I finished last year as a blog.
I have been blogging since...

We all know this time of day.... yours ever go like this?

Same Damn Day

Posted on August 31, 2010 at 11:15am 0 Comments

Welcome back. I know, your days go on and on. You're tired, bored and lonely, despite a houseful of children. Oh, the things you dream of doing.... or if you're turning 40, the men you dream of doing...

Fear not, it's fiction - fun, familiar and at times dark and steamy, just like all of us. And short, we're moms, we don't have for more than a page or two a day. This is for you. Enjoy!…

Just Another Tuesday

This is the beginning, the very first post, of One Click Away, a story about a woman who is turning 40, dreams of going deeper and chooses a life most of us don't have the guts to lead. It's a sexy online opera that updates weekdays - fun, familiar and at times, dark and steamy. Just like all of us. Hope you will tune in....

Welcome to MBC, Elizabeth. I will definitely begin reading your blog. I too am blogging as a means of finding an audience for my website. And, I am already joyfully and painfully familiar with facebook having many positive and some negative effects on relationships. I love technology, but can see plenty of downsides to it for some people.

I hope you like it here on MBC.

I love your intensity and I can so relate to your passion for writing. I come alive when I place myself in the world of my characters. It gives me purpose yet also a sense of pleasure because I am creating a world other women can escape to. It just doesn't get any better than that.
