When I was nineteen years old, at my dad’s request, I stopped by Auto Zone to pick up a quart of motor oil. It’s true, sometimes I do. I try very hard not to be resentful of his free time, but sometimes it creeps in anyway. I’m sure there are many other mothers, especially working mothers like me, that feel this way from time to time. Things just seem so much easier and simpler for my husband than they do for me.
