Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
EMILY // CREATOR OF EMILY ALDER. A LAGUNA BEACH NATIVE, MARRIED TO MATT, AND MOTHER TO THOMAS, HENRY, AND ELLA.

EMILY IS A FULL TIME MOM, PART TIME DESIGNER, AND INTERIOR DESIGN STUDENT. SHE WON’T SAY NO TO A GLASS OF ROSÉ OR A CHEESE PLATE (BUT WHO WOULDN’T RIGHT?). THE FEELING OF THE WISP OF A WAVE CRASHING SOOTHES HER SOUL. 90 PERCENT OF THE TIME YOU’LL FIND HER BAREFOOT AND HER HAIR UP IN A KNOT RUNNING AFTER HER LITTLE BROOD. THE OTHER 10 SHE SPENDS HERE WRITING THE DAYS AWAY.

THE BLOG // EMILY BEGAN BLOGGING IN 2010 AT CBI. IT STARTED AS A CREATIVE OUTLET AND WAY TO SHARE STORIES WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS. BUT IT TURNED INTO A COLLECTION OF DESIGNS, INSPIRATIONS, AND THOUGHTS. WHILE GROWING HER BLOG, EMILY’S FAMILY GREW AS WELL. IN 2014 THEY WELCOMED TWINS AND BECAME A FAMILY OF FIVE.

IN 2015, EMILY CREATED AND CURATED A NEW SITE THAT WOULD ENCOMPASS PIECES OF CBI COMBINED WITH A FRESH DESIGN OUTLOOK.

ALDER // IS A DEEP ROOTED FAMILY NAME THAT HAS ALWAYS HELD A STRONG CONNECTION FOR EMILY. IT SYMBOLIZES ALL THINGS SHE HOLDS MOST DEAR… FAMILY, LOVE, STRENGTH, HISTORY. COMBINED WITH AN APPRECIATION FOR DESIGN, WRITING, AND WELL A BEAUTIFUL LIFESTYLE.

STAY GOOD & SAY HELLO…
