"I'm with you. Even in church - we do about 20 minutes of praise worship and it's too long for me. I have my favorite songs and I have them on itunes so I play those regularly but frankly, I get bored. Find what you like to sing and search…"
"Hey, I'm new here but love this question. I'm a Christian music junkie. It's neat that someone mentioned Keith Green. I thought I was the only one who was still listening to his music. I love all the artists already mentioned--Third…"
"Not sure what type of music you're looking for, but my personal favorites include Third Day, Toby Mac, Skillet, Switchfoot, Franchesa Battestelli, and Decypher Down. I love Christian rock and alternative! As far as radio stations go, check out…"
"I forgot to mention that every Saturday, I participate in the Then Sings My Soul Saturdays meme. Each participant posts a (Youtube, Tangle, Vimeo, etc.) video featuring a song that speaks to his/her heart or a song that he/she would like to share. I…"
"Melinda, I love Keith Green, too! I also could listen to him all day. We own all his CDs and my husband loves to play his songs on the piano :). I have tons of his songs on my music playlist on my blog at http://bornagainandblessed.blogspot.com/ ."
"I love hymns and praise/worship songs. My all time favorite singer was Keith Green. His songs/messages are deep, meaningful, and inspriational plus they won't all sound the same to you :). He has a unique voice and unique style of singing &…"
"Christian music was a hard sell for me at one time and now it's about all I listen to. I like Casting Crowns, Third Day, Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp and Toby Mac...plus many more that happen to be on Wow Cds..lol. I don't really follow anyone.…"
"Right now I am loving praise and worship....particularly Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, David Crowder, Casting Crowns, etc. Also, love Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith. I have a big variety in what I listen to but these are just a few. I have…"
My husband and I were finally turned on to Christian music about 5 years ago. I started listening to Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Third Day, all good suggestions.
I would also recommend David Crowder. He is awesome and has his own unique…"
"Wow, Christian music like all other music is not about liking it but if it speaks to you at that moment. You can relate to some songs more than others and also the melody or rythm is very important in liking a song. I personally enjoy all times of…"
Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I'm a wife and stay-at-home mom of a little boy. I enjoy reading and writing (I used to write a lot of poetry, although I haven't been dedicating time to that lately... maybe that's a future blog). :) I enjoy studying the Holy Bible and am trying each day to live for God. Not always easy or painless, but I tell ya, the rewards are great. I have gained a lot more patience through prayer in dealing with my son, and I feel like a better mommy because of it.
What is your blogging philosophy?
Our family blog is mostly just to keep family members who live far away updated on our life (well, mostly about our son), but I also enjoy swapping recipes with and getting advice from other parents.
My other blog (It's Couch Time) is a book/movie club that anyone who wants to can join in and participate. So far it's just been between me, my dad and my sister, but we welcome other members who want to give reviews on books they've read and/or movies they've seen!
I have been blogging since...

Thanks for voting for me! I really appreciate it! I am not technically savvy with html. I have a lot to learn and most of what I have learned is through trial and error. If you can send me a message with the instructions, that'd be great! I'll give it a try! So far, I am way behind in votes so I don't think I'm gonna win the makeover. I'll let you know what happens! Have a great weekend!
Hi Erin! I was in a car accident about 6 years ago, and that caused my lower back to be painful & was in physio for that. There was no actual diagnosis. I then had My daughter in 2006, which made my lower back flare up here and there. Exactly a year later I was having migranes and went to the hospital, the doctors did a sprinal to check for menengitous (spelling?!). The doctor tried 4 time to put the needle in and coudln't get to my spine, then another doctor tried and got in. After that the pain was HORRIBLE. A year after that I was pregnant and lost the baby, had to have a D&C, 2 months after that, and until now I have had horrible pain, and when I wake up I can barrely get out of bed, I feel like I'm 100 years old. I'm going to see my doctor, because I actually think there is something wrong. I love pilates, walking & running. I've been told to excersise and it will get better, and I do, but it hasn't. Well, that's my belly aching story.
