I am a freelance writer and SAHM to two little boys, ages 4 and 2. My two year old has multiple food allergies so I put together a site filled with recipes that don't contain any of the most common allergens and are easy to fix, taste great, and nutritious! I've included tons of links and pictures and hopefully some humor.
What is your blogging philosophy?
Although each mom is unique, more than likely there is another mom somewhere experience a similar parenting challenge, ie food allergies. I hope my blog gives those mom's a place to come and find some relief from the day to day struggle of life with food allergies.
I have been blogging since...
December. of 2008. Quit laughing.

I started my own mombloggersclub group. I had too. There was no choice. So come, join in on the chaos and mayhem that is living with kids with food allergies.

Getting Started

I've had such a tremendous outpouring of support from my readers that I want to reach out more. I am really enjoying working on my blog and reading other blogs so I felt like this was the natural next step.

I'm here to learn and laugh, so Mom Blogger Veteran's advice would be much appreciated!

I'm off to make pudding from barley. Check it out later on this week on my blog.

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.

Trisha, I don't seem to be able to leave a comment on your blog. The entire post 'disappears' and hangs!! I want to thank you for the award you gave me. You are such a gem!

Thanks so much for the tips. I am sure they will be helpful. I'll probably start looking around for a good baby carrier because he is still pretty tiny.

Not yet - Meri is only 8 but she has some great ideas. When she's a bit older and practiced though, I can't see why not!

Trisha, I've been trying to leave comments on your blog but it keeps getting 'hung' waiting for the verification code to download :( I'll try and pop in again later.

I'm gluten and dairy intolerant although much better than I was a few years ago. But I can understand the stress you must go through finding tasty food for a toddler!

Thanks so much for the kind words Trisha :)

I've been making jewellery now for almost 8 years, however qualified as a gemmologist 20+ years ago and worked in the trade for a number of years before stopping to marry and have kids. Must have got in my blood now as my youngest has a real passion for creating already!
