You might dislike nature. It’s the home of mud, bugs, and sunburns. It’s also the home of beautiful views, fresh air, and wonderful fragrances. You might dislike nature, but on the other hand, you might love it. Whatever your feelings about nature, you know you should be…
When researching the top things mothers consider when picking their childs school, I came up with two equally popular subjects. Is it a school full of druggies? Is it a school full of knocked up girls? Lets start with Drugs. Parents of public schooled children didn't want there kids attending a school with a history of drug related activity. Parents of home schooled children believe they are preventing there kids from being a crack addict.
Statistically drugs are a bigger problem… Continue
Here is a little background on Bella. She has always been shy, a loner, teachers pet and has such determination in life you almost want to bottle it and sell it. Recently in the 6th grade she has turned into quite the chit-chatterer and social butterfly. She went from just 1 best friend for years to having a busier social calendar than I have. The girl actually took my cell phone and when the other line beeped and it was for me, she asked if I could call them back because she was on an… Continue
Sorry the posts have been scanty lately. I am personally dealing with a dilemma in life, proving once again the job of a mother is never ending. Bella is entering middle school next year. The joyous 7th grade. Normally you just pre-enroll your kid in the district chosen school. Unfortunately my life never goes according to plan. My kid is a smarty pants. She is a consistent straight A student and at the end of the 5th grade got tested and put into the “gifted and talented” program. I do live in… Continue
My youngest daughter has this problem. Well I don’t really see it as a problem but my husband does. As he likes to say, she cusses like a sailor. Now I don’t actually see this to be anything but normal genetics. She is after all her mothers daughter. Boogie (that is her nickname) likes, no loves to say “oh shit!” Now I’m sure that many parents will scowl at the fact that I’m ok with this. In my defense, she says please and thank you, excuse me after see burps and will even make sure everyone in… Continue
My name is Jennifer Dickinson and I am casting a new docuseries for Go Go Luckey Entertainment ("Laguna Beach", "Paranormal State") about parenting in the modern age. The pilot, produced with BermanBraun for a major cable network, will focus on the relationships between mothers and their teenage daughters. We are interested in exploring the challenges of raising a teenage girl in the Facebook era, when many parents see themselves as their children's friends, sharing interests in things like television, music, and fashion.
We are targeting a number of areas, including Chicago,Texas (Houston and Dallas), the Twin Cities, St. Louis, and Boston. If you know of anyone who might be interested, please have them contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. You can also check us out on Facebook.
Best Wishes and let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I don't know where that phrase came from. Probably on a trying day! With a 3 year old and a 2 year old, there are many! You're right label anything mommy and she won't want to steal them, unless you as cool of a mom as your posts seems. Then she will look up to you and probably still want them anyway! Love and Peace to you as well! Wish me luck today and the following days coming up until our children are 11 years old! back2backboys!
