Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I'm a writer and journalist who came to motherhood late. I live in the rural south-west of the UK and have a ten year old son, a husband (who's also a writer) and a revolting dog. We live in 'the Bonkers House' - an ancient and decrepit house we're attempting to renovate. I juggle furiously and frequently drop the balls, which is a little humiliating, given one of my books is called The Overload Solution!
What is your blogging philosophy?
Total abject honesty. I don't believe there is such a thing as a perfect mom - and I think the very concept is a rod to beat other women with. I hope I talk from the heart. I also believe in fundamental courtesy, politeness and the idea of 'community' in blogging. Unsurprisingly I think blogging is a supreme form of therapy - particularly for women who are stuck at home with nobody to talk to but the walls....
I have been blogging since...

So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
