A little about myself:
I had a 30 year career in the National Health Service as a radiographer, specialising in breast screening. I progressed into Senior Management, in charge of a breast care unit.
I became very disillusioned, because of the bureaucracy and financial targets. I decided to take early retirement 5 years ago. We emigrated to Florida, unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances meant we had to return to the UK.
I did not want to go back into the NHS, so I was looking for an opportunity that would allow me to help people, because I have always had a passion for helping others. I wanted to find an opportunity that would allow me to help people. I know work for myself, helping others, I am in control of my future, not somebody telling me. This opportunity is life changing

Yes, we're in autumn here - its getting cooler but still have some very summery days thrown into the mix. We had a pretty hot summer so I'm almost looking forward to the cold! No snow here either - there is a town a couple of hours drive away (named Orange) that is at a higher altitude and often gets a light dusting of snow in winter - I saw my first falling snowflakes there last year in mid-spring!!!
