Share a little something about yourself with other moms.

I'm a 45 year old working mom with three teen daughters, married to a very talented artist. My daughter got me started blogging and I've loved it ever since. I now maintain several blogs that cater to my different interests and just recently got into monetizing some of them. Blogging and networking keeps me on my toes, I learn something everyday and meet interesting people all the time.

Amoores.com - my family blog where I post things about the kids, parenting and things in general in and around the house.

Cooked From the Heart - my food blog where I post some of the things we cook up. My girls and I love to experiment in the kitchen and you never know what will come out. We love food and everything to do with it from preparing it to eating it.

In Our Backyard - this is our photo blog of our garden and beyond.

Found Not Lost - this is my review site. These are the things I 'find' that aren't necessarily 'lost'. It was my old book review site that I expanded to include all reviews. Some of the reviews are sponsored.

Nette Life - this is a new blog that I started for myself but haven't really had much time to keep up. Isn't that just like a mom's life though? The ME often always comes last. My plans for this blog is to be just for me, my rants, goals and thoughts. I wanted a place where I can bitch if I want to and not always have to be censored for the kids sake.

Test Star - my blog about blogging. I had a notebook where I was jotting down all the little tips and shortcuts about blogging so I can refer to them next time I need something. So I thought, why not put them online? I can still go back to information I need, but maybe someone else can use the same information and not have to look all over the place for it.

What is your blogging philosophy?

My blogging philosophy has always been to write for my pleasure. Although I'm now trying my hand at blog monetization, my core blogs remain the same. I love to cook and try out new recipes so my food blog is one of my pet projects. I heard that being controversial brings lots of traffic, but I don't think it's the kind of traffic I would want. I still go by the old school rule of playing nice, even in blogging.
