"For anyone wondering why it looks like I have an identical twin here on MBC (jinniver), it's because Ning won't let me access that account--so I had to get a new one. It's still just me. :-)"

"I've moved! For anyone wondering why it looks like I've got a twin here on MBC, it's because Ning thinks this account doesn't exist and won't let me sign on to it. So you can find me here now as Jen Johnson. :-)"

"Thanks for the welcome! I've actually been here a while; unfortunately, Ning appears to have eaten my first account (it still exists here, but I can't access it). :-)"

Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I'm a Navy wife, retired Naval officer, stay at home mom to a 3 yr old and an infant, knitter, quilter, cross stitcher, blogger, avid reader, scifi/fantasy lover, NFL and NASCAR fan, and Mythbusters fanatic.
What is your blogging philosophy?
I try to stay on topic--in this case, my fiber arts obsession--but I do add a little of my family and daily life so my readers can get to know me. All fiber arts all the time would get a little dry! No politics or religion--there's a time and place for both, but it's not on my blog.
I have been blogging since...

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
