Since having kids, my car has taken on a life of it’s own. No matter how hard I try, it becomes a landfill in a matter of hours. Between school drop off and pickups, traveling to Cub Scouts and dance lessons, and of course, constant trips to the grocery story, pediatrician and pharmacy, we spend an average of two hours per day in the car.

The more toys you have, the more toys there are the clean up. And for some reason, kids never find toy clean up as fun as toy playing.
Living in a one-bedroom apartment, we try to keep clutter (including toys!) to a minimum. I’ve tried all kinds of storage systems and toy clean up rules, like “no more than two toys out at a time.”
