Your designs are adorable and what a wonderful concept to reuse! My mother is/was a tailor and was always taking clothing and recreating it. I remember she made me a wedding gown for Halloween out of her old prom dress when I was little. (My brother and I went as bride and groom.) But I think you are very progressive to do this in the spirit of reusing/recycling and in an economy that is taking a nosedive. I will keep you in mind when I need a baby gift. Nice work!
