Does anyone know if ther's a way to cut drying time for clothes in dryer? I use a tremenous amount of electricity drying clothes.

Well, the way I handle that is to pretty much not use my dryer. We dry towels, sheets and the underwear load. But everything else air dries on racks in the basement. The first month I make that change, I saw a $25 drop in my gas/electric bill :)

Try hanging them on a rack over your furnace vent or outside on a drying rack in nice weather. We haven't used a dryer in years and you're right, it uses tons of electricity. Ellen http://confessionsofanover-workedmom.blogspot.com/
