I live in Chicago with my husband and toddler. We have another baby on the way. I have been a passionate writer since childhood. I was an English major at the University Notre Dame where I also edited and wrote for the school newspaper. I earned my MA from Northeastern Illinois University. My first children's book will be published this August by Corby Publishing. Examples of my writing are available on my blog www.lipstickandlollypops.com. I work in marketing and enjoys simple pleasures.

Family Travel SNAFU

Posted on August 22, 2012 at 2:39pm 0 Comments

Below is an excerpt from an email to my friends Sheila and Tricia (sisters and moms of two) last summer after my son and I experienced our first flight together or travel SNAFU without Daddy’s help. My son and I fly out for the same family vacation later today. My husband meets us later this week. I am optimistic the travel experience will be smoother for us today than it was last year……

Greetings from the Tampa Bay :) My name is Lea, and I am the author of Mother Baby Child - http://motherbabychild.blogspot.com. I started this blog to share my experience in having a baby just before my 1st son was about to turn 18 years old, as well as what life is like as a married mom after being single for so many years. I also blog about Christianity, baby and child stages, homeschooling, ADHD, Autism, Blog Marketing, etc. I share a lot on that blog during the non-summer seasons.

I also have a new healthy lifestyle choices and weight loss blog - http://burnfatloseweightgetskinnyfeelgreat.blogspot.com - to accompany my Skinny Body business. I am working hard to complete the design of this new blog, so that I can provide valuable health lifestyle and weight loss information, as well as to share a solid opportunity for moms that want / need to make money by working at home.

I invite you to explore my blogs and provide your feedback.

I have GFC and my network links on both of them.

Now that my baby is older, I have more time to meet the moms. I am really excited about this!

I look forward to reading your blog and networking with you here at MBC :)

Hugs & Blessings!
