It's official, she's going. A few of the colleges she has dreamed of attending wrote her letters and sent her emails saying they'd be thrilled to have her. She screamed! She jumped up and down! She was elated, beyond elated! I screamed and jumped up and down with her. I was elated, but not beyond elated. Because we all know what this really means. Happy Birthday to Me!!

Today is my birthday. I am 44. My day starts out beautifully as I get happy birthdays from my kids and my husband gives me a very nice bracelet and my kids give me a necklace that I love. Older kids head to school and I have a little time to have coffee with my husband before getting my youngest up and ready for school (she goes to a different school). Share a little something about yourself with other moms.: I am a mother of four spirited children, ages 17, 15, 10 and 7. I also teach yoga and have a passion for making sure that moms are taking care of themselves throughout the mothering journey.

What is your blogging philosophy?: Tell good stories that other mothers will appreciate and learn from, but also protect my children's privacy (especially since two of them are teens!)

I have been blogging since...: Just began dabbling in blogging but have been writing articles for parenting magazines for 5 years.
