I’m also a Scentsy consultant and always looking for other moms to share this experience with: Kick the Wick

I’m a Mom, homeschooling teacher, seamstress (including machine embroidery), blogger, tweeter, web page designer, web site administrator, published writer, Senior SGM/CE for Simutronics Corp., graphic design and desktop publisher. I am also a grandma, Christian, Conservative Libertarian, former USAF brat, proud Zionist and patriotic American. We share our home with four dogs, several hamsters and gerbils, and somewhere in all this mess is a husband.
My heritage is Scottish, Irish, Welsh on my Mom’s side and Cherokee, English, German on my Dad’s side. I am the eldest of four children. I have four living children and one deceased child. I also have four grandchildren.
I am homeschooling my youngest daughter (Missy, 16) who takes both To-Shin Do (Ninjutsu) and dance lessons. She is a competitive Irish Dancer, which makes me a Feis Mom. As such, I am also a hairdresser, makeup artist, costume designer and creator, fashion consultant, wardrobe coordinator, travel coordinator, chauffeur, travel companion, pep squad, critic, confidante and psychologist.
What is your blogging philosophy?
Depends on which blog you're on -- The Original Musings is a bit of this and a bit of that. You’ll find politics and current events, crimes and parent of the year (/sarcasm) nominees. You’ll find rants, hyperbole, observations, sarcasm, laughs, giggles and more all nestled in amongst family updates and pictures of my sewing and embroidery projects. You’ll find thought streams and ramblings, opinions and more digressions than you can shake a stick at. It is what it is and what it is, is whatever I feel like writing. My other blog, FatNoMo, is my place to document my weight loss journey and share tips, recipes, encouragement and advice with folks who might be interested. It's my place to be blunt and own up to my issues that led me to morbid obesity and the decision to do something about it.
I have been blogging since...
