I am a busy wife and mom of one great little boy, a civil servant with the DOD, an aspiring business woman, a lover of fashion and accessories, tropical vacations, and Donnie Wahlberg of NKOTB. I live in Southern Maryland, down on the Chesapeake Bay. I love sewing, designing clothing, spending time with my family, and shopping for pretty much anything.

I launched Pink Koala in 2007 but I've been off and on as my husband and I struggled with infertility and eventual pregnancy and new parenthood. I am trying to get back into my blog and even though no one reads it, provides me an outlet for my thoughts, grips and general musings.

Pink Koala will chronicle the joys and struggles, ups and downs in the life of a mother trying to achieve her life's passions through fashion and entrepreneurship and trying to reach the goal of freedom from the cubicle land. I write about the struggles and successes in my life, and generally anything that comes up in my hectic yet extremely fulfilling life. I hope that I can inspire some and inform others through my journey to making Pink Koala a household name.

In addition to my blog, I have a small accessories business, Pink Koala (www.pinkkoala.com). We make modern accessories for the home and family. Like I said we're small now but dreaming big. I've enjoyed small success of Etsy as well as locally in my area. I hope to use my blog to draw attention to my business as well.

And you will all have to forgive me for the twitter updates and blogs about NKOTB. I've been loyal to them since I was 13 and I can't stop now.

The Justice of the Peace in LA has every right to feel how he feels even though he's ignorant for doing what he did. It was a violation of those peoples civil rights and he should of known better. Black Barbies

I was a bit surprised that this was news and my first reaction was haven't we always had black barbies. I did. She had a short curly do and a red sparkly dress. I broke her head off and in recent years I found her again on Ebay and bought her.
