Share a little something about yourself with other moms.: I am Kiki, Army Wife and personal mamarazzi to my kids. I owe all that I am and all that I have to my Savior, Jesus Christ. I’m a traveler, a writer, and a photographer - great combo! I love people watching, black-and-white photos, lime Dr. Pepper, office supplies, scrapbooking, real Italian pizza, and Praise & Worship music. I’m emotional and sensitive, and I cry a lot. I’m not a fan of makeup and pretty much have the same routine I did when I started wearing it in 7th grade. I say I like the natural look, but - really - I'm just lazy. I hold grudges. I’d much rather email or text than talk on the phone. I like to shop online. I use CAPS for emphasis WAY TOO MUCH. I’m a drama-queen, a dreamer, and a planner. I'm indecisive. I'm learning to not only accept but embrace my imperfections. AND I LOVE TO BLOG.

What is your blogging philosophy?: Having been affected by death, and depression, and many more of life’s inevitable tragedies, I know personally the importance of everyday. There is no guarantee for tomorrow, so I have to live - truly live - everyday. It is important to celebrate the small things - the mundane and boring things, the routines, the relationships, the little details - that make up my life.

It all comes down to making the most of things. When life throws you lemons...that kind of thing. By choosing to live everyday, the big things don’t seem so big. And the small things, it turns out, aren’t that small. The big moments of life (the graduations, the promotions, the parties, the vacations, the stuff) don’t define you - it’s the everyday (the good-morning kisses, the weeknight dinners, the afternoons at the park, the bedtime prayers) that matters most.

I firmly believe that it’s up to each of us to make our “everydays” count - everyday. (Does that make sense?) It’s a daily choice we have to make and a dedicated effort we have to put forth - everyday.

I choose happiness. I choose peace. I choose fun. I choose love. I choose health. I choose LIFE - everyday.
