Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I am a single mom of 8 kids. I have home schooled all of them at one point of time. Their ages range in three groups, the older teens (young adult) the teens (they're out to get me) and the little ones (I still have some control). I am a forever learner. I struggle with raising them, wondering if this is what's right. I have a sarcastic sense of humor and love life. Every moment is a teachable one, and I'm so glad that the kids are still willing to teach me, even though I'm a little slow on the uptake.
What is your blogging philosophy?
This is us, my kids, what's real, and an invitation to our chaos. It's me. Unfiltered and out there. I want my audience to see that being a mom is not all glitz and glam, but you are able to be successful without the manual. It's only me. All of the content and editing I do is mine, good bad and in between.
It's always visceral, so I candidly just write what I feel and invite the readers into my world. I write about real issues, topics we all worry about, and try to provide real life, helpful tips. I try to write (almost) everyday and post then. At times I may write more, or have four ideas going at a time. I place them in hierarchy of relevance and interest and post accordingly.
This blog is new, so I have planned on a strict regimen of writing. I am committing to consistency. I will attempt to have six blog posts every week. My daughter is my teammate so to speak, as she blogs on her own, and will feature occasionally. I hope to also do feature blogs and have others come to my page as guest writers. I will have a Vlog attached down the line, with tips on teens, tweens, tiny-tots, and toddlers. So, while I may not post daily, you will receive seven pieces of content from me each and every week.
I have been blogging since...
I started an unsucessful blog years ago, but had two kids right after that, now, I have a bit more free time and recently started June 2013

What IS A Meltdown?

“A meltdown is a tantrum, reports MSNBC, plain and simple: “Depending upon your child’s personality, nature, and style of communicating the outburst can range from simple whining, crying and fussing to a full-fledged fall-to-the-floor, head-banging-free-for-all.…
