I am a teacher and a working mom of two little boys, nicknamed Peanut and Pumpkin. I love music from the 80s, perfect grammar, Hello Kitty, and spending time with my family, but I could use help with home organization, redecorating, and de-stressing. I am really just an ordinary mom trying to provide an extraordinary childhood for my children.
What is your blogging philosophy?
I like to mix humor in with daily life because much of my life with my family is humorous -- intentional or not. I also try to focus on the positive while also being truthful about the obstacles in my life.
I have been blogging since...

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
Well hello there! Thanks for your comment! I used to be a teacher, too! I taught elementary (mostly first) for 6 years before becoming a SAHM. And yes...I love me some MckMama! I mean, who doesn't, right? :)
Your boys are adorable (look about the same ages as mine!) as I quickly perused your blog (it is 12:57 a.m...what am I still doing up, anyway?)...I'll have to come back to really delve into it! Thanks for reaching out, new friend!
