What would you tell your teenaged self if you had the chance?
Sometimes looking back on your past is like watching a scary movie- A character enters a room within which certain doom lurks, and all you want to do is yell “Don’t do that! Don’t go in there!” even though the character can’t actually hear you.
My teenaged years were essentially a series of social disasters.
Now, with several years and life lessons under my belt, I wish that I could go back in time, take my teenaged self aside, and give her some guidance.
I am always looking for reader submissions, and would be thrilled to receive yours.
I fit blogging into my day somewhere between feedings, bath times, naps and sandbox. I am a stay-at-home Mom totally in love with my 16 month old daughter and my amazing husband.
My daughter is 30 - she had the same series of social disasters and managed to get through them marry a professional golfer and have two beautiful children and she's so happy. ...Another thing ...we are really good friends now. I've always loved her but her choices were less than stellar. Then one day she turned it all around - I'm happy that your in a good place. My favorite quote is ...The Choices we make and the life we live with after" Sounds like you've made some really great choices..Also,,,sounds like you have a lot to be proud of. Anyway, I'm a freelance writer living in Las Vegas now (from Los Angeles and a brief stay in Indiana) anyway I love a deal and have spent a lot of time researching things to do here especially for my kids...it's clean and beautiful and scenic...it's not all about the strip ..very family friendly communities....my blog is: http://www.vegas365review.blogspot.com/ my blog is all about the different places to go in Vegas for locals and visitors as well. I review the places I've gone...I recently started it and my goal is to get over 300 followers so if you know anyone else that may be interested please pass my blog on to them - that would be great!!! ...I'm trying to get a position at the local community paper and need followers for credibility. I thought I'd ask women for help especially mommies. Thanks for your time and if you ever come to Vegas let me know and I'll give you a list of best deals (just go to comment section or blog me on this site) TAKE CARE and write anytime.
