I'm a new mom of a beautiful baby boy, and I work nights as a news anchor. My husband and I arranged out schedules so one of us is always home with the boy-- which is good because we don't need daycare, but bad because we never see each other. It's all part of the adventure! I'm learning to function on less sleep that I ever thought possible... now I know why sleep deprivation is used as a form of torture. I confess! :)
I spent my whole life in Southern Califonia before moving to Nebraska for work 4 years ago. Essentially, I just traded earthquakes for tornadoes. I like it here, but I miss LA!

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
Hi Lauren - I need to get a move on with the Hollywood Mom Blog but the CribRockBlog.com seems to be the only one I'm working on these days and it's almost strictly promotional (so very LA eh?) I look forward to reading more of your blog - you're too funny - Nebraska? WOW. I'm sure it is culture shock but what an adventure too.
