Had an idea for the authors.
Maybe there should be a page where authors can post their book jackets, blurbs and/or links to Amazon and their blogs, and where bloggers could review the books on their blogs.

Honestly, I had never heard of anyone having breast cancer during pregnancy before your reading your post. It's hard enough going through a pregnancy and worrying about the child growing within. A friend of mine had a novel published about a woman battling breast cancer. It's a positive book. I believe it was based upon her mother's experience with the disease.

- Are you talking online or print? Either way, do your research and find a website/publication with a target market that would be interested in your writing style.
You want a strong query letter stating how your column will keep and even increase readership. Include your best writing samples to support your claim.
Be open- even if a website/publication doesn't pay alot, more experience is always a plus.
