Life Changes I Wish I’d Made Sooner

By the time I turned 25, I was sure my life was a single-lane highway.

A single-lane highway with no exits. As far as I was concerned, I was headed in the same direction, with no…

Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I'm a new mom, rounding third and about to head home during this first year of babyhood. My little guy was born in January of 2013 and since then I've been attempting to keep him alive and dog toys outta his mouth. I love being a mom, I take too many photos, and sometimes I can be too snarky for my own good.
What is your blogging philosophy?
I blog about my life, I blog about daily struggles and the hilarity of raising a child. I take a lot of photos and try not to be too preachy.
I have been blogging since...

A New Moms Wardrobe: The First Year

Posted on January 31, 2014 at 9:31am 0 Comments

Back when I was pregnant, I told myself I wouldn't be lazy and wear my pajamas all day when my kid arrived. This chick hates moms and isn't shy about it.

No not me. This chick, Amy Glass.

This article popped up on my newsfeed this morning and as Luke was tossing his bananas and cereal onto the dogs back I thought, what a lovely morning read, lets see what she has to say...

One paragraph in and I was both giggling to myself at the stupidity of it all and just letting her words fuel my hate fire for her…

The Stigma of Being a "Relaxed" Parent

adjective from tension and anxiety; at ease.
"we were having a great time and feeling very relaxed"

Captain snot nosed and I stayed home from the world yesterday as he is attempting to fill everyone of his shirts with a layer of crusty boogers. I am in…
