Even though I love spending time with my kids, there is something so delicious about those few brief hours when you can type a sentence, talk on the phone, or take a nap without someone hollering "Mom..."

I took a peek at your blog. I loved the pine cone turkey and "Can't Sleep" was wonderful. I feel the exact same way. It was much less common to home school when we sent our now teenager to kindergarten. (She is now about to graduate high school.) I have been really amazed at how our beliefs and morals have been undermined almost daily in school. The sad part is that the majority of the questionable discussions usually have not been by/with other kids but instigated by the teachers who are simply trying every trick in their bag to engage the students. As a result, my hubby and I are really struggling trying to decide what is the best road to take for our almost five year old. I wish you (all of us really) luck!
