Torn between weaning and continuing to breast feed!My daughter is now 13 months old and we hit our personal breast feeding benchmark at 12 months last month. Now I'm torn between weaning and continuing to nurse. I've been putting a lot of thought into this. Weighing the pros and cons of weaning vs. "bfing"(apparently this is mom code for breast feeding so I'll refer to it as BF moving forward since it makes my life easier). So what better way to lay out my options than to solicit the input of…See More

Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I'm the type of mom who is absolutely in love with motherhood! I believe in things like breast feeding, co-sleeping, feeding my daughter fresh, organic, home made meals, playtime with music and dancing, among other things. At the same time, I'm also the type of mom who believes that there is no such thing as a perfect parent therefore there are no choices that make one mom a "better" parent than another. My goal is to share the challenges, strategies, and day to day "ah ha" moments with my fellow mommies and hopefully get some feedback in return.
What is your blogging philosophy?
Blogging requires the ability to be willing to share personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences with total strangers who may be able to relate. I also believe that blogging is a great venue for advocacy. I blog about breast feeding and sharing personal challenges and effective techniques with struggling mothers or I may express how difficult it is to keep baby on a diet of healthy organic foods when there are so many convenient prepackaged foods available out there and then offer potential solutions for working moms like myself. I believe that blogging is an outlet for people especially for mothers to relieve stress through expression and share "best practices" of parenting with each other. I look forward to contributing to the blogs on mombloggersclub.com.
