Just as my blog's title suggests, I am a single, middle-aged mother. More though, I am an African American adoptive mom of a great girl! I am enjoying my hobbies, my work, mothering, and writing my blog. My blog considers the light and the heavy, the serious and the stuff that makes you go, "Hmmmm...." I hope you'll read my blog.
What is your blogging philosophy?
Blogs are a great way to put your thinking out there for others to consider. They are a great way to start a conversation, or just come to understand your own thinking on issues that concern you. I don't use my blog as a daily diary. The diary stuff I share in phone conversations with my sister or in my private and personal journal that I write longhand. Because blogs are a bit of an impersonal space that we bend and reshape to become somewhat more personal, I think they are good places to share the perplexing and provocative thoughts we have, but not the intimate musings that require much more explanations face-to-face.
