I am a blogger, crafter and business owner. Oh, and I am also a caregiver! Two years ago I quit my corporate job to run my gift basket company full time. Shortly after that I started my blog to support my business as well as to share thoughts on a lifestyle of giving. While running my business from home, I have been caring for my mother-in-law with dementia for the past 18 months. It's a hectic life as I'm sure you all understand. Blessings to all!
What is your blogging philosophy?
I like the casual nature of blogging. As a business owner, I write for many business purposes - email, press releases, product descriptions, and the list goes on. What I love about blogging is the ability to speak in a conversational tone and to let my personality come through. I think of my blog as if I were talking to my customers and friends as they walk into my "neighborhood" store. I get to know them and they get to know me.
