Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I am the mother of two young girls who are 13 months apart. We had planned to have children close together, but my youngest surprised us and decided she had to arrive three months early. She's been home since December and is doing great. When I'm not entertaining the girls I am trying to get a little grant writing work done, or watching bad television with my husband.
What is your blogging philosophy?
I am new to this so I have yet to develop a philosophy around it, other than, be nice, don't make things sound worse or better than they truly are, and understand that not everyone wants to hear about how you just ate a bagel.

I stole the idea for this photo from my friend Holly. She posted a picture of these trees on Facebook, saying that she loves her neighborhood. I live nearby and I found myself walking down the same path this afternoon with my girls. The trees remind me of the cherry blossoms in DC:
