Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I am a single mother of two and was just recently laid off from my dream job as a radio producer. I have been a freelance writer for some small local publications for years. I want to share what I know and have experienced as a single parent. It gets so excruciatingly lonely and I want to be that voice that says "You can make it!" I also want to explore other interest through blogging such as politics, social issues as well as religion and spirituality. I am an old-fashioned, bible-thumping Christian but I am not religious or judgmental. I want to tell my story and share my journey and create platform for others to feel comfortable sharing their experiences so that other women, other people in general can be inspired and blessed! I am also working on a radio show and podcast as a companion to both blogs.

Whether we like it or not, we will all at one point have to wear the event planning cap. Why is that? Because we are human, and along with our humanity come life celebrations: baby showers, weddings, graduations, anniversaries, retirements, funerals, and the list goes on and on. I'm sure that I don't…
