"Hi there. Time is precious to us all, I know. But, if you're a petite woman & would love to read great articles about the best things that come in small packages or even know someone also that would ~ come on over for a visit and stay a…"
"That is a funny story!
I wore Annie in a sling when she was a newborn. This was right after the Infantino sling recall, which did not affect my sling. I had SO many people make comments to me about it. I know everyone was just concerned for my…"
"Yes, I hate that too! Hats, socks, baby carriers... Whatever you do or don't do, people will always have something to say about it! It seems small babies bring out the worst in some "concerned citizens"!"
"Ha ha! It's so frustrating when people interject their thoughts on what you are doing with your kids. Here's my story...
I wear my baby every time we aren't at home. I love having her close to me, I don't like trying to maneuver…"
So, I was at the Farmer's Market today and some lady accosted me for not having a hat on my baby. She literally yanked my arm and said, "You need to put a hat on that baby!" Little did she know that I was frantically searching for my husband who had run off with our stroller (and the hat). I get so irritated by people like that. So ladies, tell me your favorite story of a stranger trying to tell you how to raise your baby. It's time to vent!
Hi Everyone,I may be the only one who was having this problem, but I thought I would throw it out there. I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to make a button for my blog. I am new to the blogging world and I don't speak Internet very well. All the instructions I found online were SO confusing! Until... I just started looking into homeschooling. We don't live in an area with great public schools and we can't afford private schooling. I was thinking about starting a homeschool co-op. Do you know much about them? I did some…"
Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
Hi! I write about life, the adventures of motherhood, and the challenges of raising my two little chicks. I have two girls- Emma, almost 3 and Annie, five months. In between breastfeeding every two hours, potty training, and folding laundry I enjoy photography, cooking, and occasionally sleeping.
What is your blogging philosophy?
Be honest, true to yourself, and stick to your voice. A little hyperbole for the sake of good story telling never hurt anyone either.
Hi there. Time is precious to us all, I know. But, if you're a petite woman & would love to read great articles about the best things that come in small packages or even know someone also that would ~ come on over for a visit and stay a spell ... we'd love to have you.
Hey Morgan thanks for checking out my site. I'll do the same for sure! Thanks for the compliment, I'm enjoying my hair too! Such a break to get your hair done when you have kids and little 'me' time. Have a good one!
Oh my goodness, I have a Emma too! Mine just turned 2 in May. I love the potty training bit, I haven't started yet. Any different from boys???? I get anxious just thinking about starting it. Thanks for sharing

Getting teens to open up is one of the most important tasks of parenting a teenager. It is also one of the most challenging parts of parenthood. If your teen rolls her eyes, walks away angrily, or retreats to his bedroom when you try to talk to him or her, you are not alone. Many parents…
Most parents find that training their non-disabled children for life's activities is challenging enough. However, parents of physically challenged children have to be especially creative to make sure that their young people learn the daily life skills that they need to be self-sufficient. Occupational…
