I walked my very first 5K yesterday! I've walked that far plenty of times but never that fast and I can't believe how sore I am today. But crossing the finish line gave me so much motivation, I want to train to run it next year!

I need tips on good shoes for walking without breaking the bank. I made up my mind to start walking this week and boy did I start! I walked 4 miles yesterday and 5 today! I have a feeling going from 0 to 9 miles so far this week is going to be hard…

We are walking miracles

Do you believe it? That made me feel like Joel Osteen. As Joel says, do you receive it?
I don't know about you, but I tend to think of miracles as really big things. Like when sweet babies like Harper and Stellan receive healing, or like when cancers and diseases disappear. I typically don't think of every day goings on as miracles.
But they are. Superman and I know that first hand. Too bad I'm just now figuring it out.
