This past weekend, my boyfriend took his son, my own son, and myself up to Springfield, Illinois. Along the way we ate breakfast at McDonalds on the road, and then later on we dined at a Chinese buffet. Until we were done and paid the bill, I realized something – McDonalds was becoming increasingly expensive to eat at, especially for families. (We went to the Chinese buffet, as my boyfriend knew they also had a sushi bar too.)

I have been divorced for over 2 years now. My son and I are quite close, but I had to do the hardest thing when I got divorced... I had to leave.

I almost feel like I walked into a freshly carpeted place... still even has the new smell. That is my thoughts about treading into the Mommy blogger world. I have not many connections in the IRL / offline world because most of my friends are either just getting married or do not plan to have children for years.
