Is there really such a thing when it comes to finding a school for your child. In London where many state schools are oversubscribed the anser for many parents is No . SO what can you do and how does it compare with systems around the wordl. Would love to hear your views

London's Burning - the Notting Hill riots

UK Mums have been talking about what to tell their kids about the riots and whether to blog about it. After a couple of nights staying in with evening meetings cancelled, I decided to go out on the streets myself last night and see what has been happening in our part of London. This is what I found

Thanks for sharing. Interesting blog. I was in London for the christmas and New Year. I was born in Dulwich and stayed in Chingford, but now live in Florida with my husband who is from Cleveland.  I have never lived in the Notting Hill area but thanks for the insides.
