Share a little something about yourself with other moms.: I am the co-author of the book Cookies for Dinner: the tales of two moms in their quest to survive motherhood. I am actually a certified cat behavior expert in my other life and author of 7 other books but when I became a mother I felt as if everything I knew went out the window. I was flying by the seat of my pants and loving every minute of it.

What is your blogging philosophy?: My co-author, Kae Allen, and I believe that there are so many people willing to tell you what you're doing wrong. We think what moms really need is to know that we're all in this together and while we're on this ride we might as well laugh at ourselves.

The difference between 9 and 10

My daughter turned 9 last week. This is the child who lives and breathes all things pink and all things Barbie.

As I decorated the house for her upcoming birthday party, she came up to me and announced that she had something very important to tell me.
